Hi, everybody! I just want to ask kung may nabibiling insulating material na pwede sa refrigirator (yung parang shaving cream nasa areosol can pag natiyo eh styro foam). kinutkot yata ng langgam o ipis yung insualtion inside the ref body, mga 1 timba ang nakuha kong tiny bits of foam and now I can feel the cold seeping out the affected area.
I think someone else in this forum is looking fo the same thing? TIA!

I think the heater is there to prevent condensation near the door seal. The moisture will eventually cause rusting.

I'd rather have a watertight chamber with inspection port. I feel uneasy about foam strongly adhering to the inside hull. A small leak will be unnoticed, until the wood rots.
what do you call this foam in the can?

I do not know what it is called but it looks like a shaving foam canister. It has button that one presses and out comes the foam. The foam hardens after a few minutes taking the shape of the container it was sprayed on.
Commercial or industrial insulating contractors use a two or three component foam. A two component foam and a blowing agent. the quantity of the blowing agent determines the density of the foam. Used to be R-11.
