Hi guys. I will be moving next year to my new house that fits my budget. A compact 2-storey house with 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, a big balcony covering the car port, with extra spaces in front, side, and back (for future expansion, etc). It is just walking distance to the club house, basketball court, swimming pool, and main entrance gate. 104 sq.m floor area, 88 sq.m lot area. PHP1,695,000.
My only issue with the house is that both bathrooms being on the firewall side, they are windowless. I am planning to install exhaust fans in both bathrooms - duct type exhaust fans or out spout exhaust fans ( I am not sure about the exact term).
The second floor bathroom is easier as the ceiling is of Hardiflex type material. The first floor bathroom is a bit tricky as on top of it is the second floor bathroom. See floor plan below.
The ceiling of the first floor bathroom is actually of Hardiflex-type material. And the space between this and the concrete slab of the second floor bathroom, hides the plumbing of the second floor bathroom. I am planning to cut a whole and install a duct type exhaust fan, and bore a hole on the second floor bathroom to install a PVC pipe from the floor to the ceiling. The vented air will pass through this PVC pipe.
Both bathrooms would also be opened and aerated when not in use, for a couple of hours daily.
I am not really good at describing this, but I hope you get what I am trying to say. Any ideas or advices will be highly appreciated.
