Hi Guys!
A new member here. I have taken on the most daunting task, buying my first home. While I have moved in and the house is presenting its own set of problems, my new bamboo worries me.
I have a buddah' s belly bamboo. It's in a gigantic pot. Around 10 feet hight. It has mealy bug infestation. While I have tried soap and oil spray and everything I learned from the net, they are still there. I have resorted to going from one leaf to another to physically remove the bugs.
Ive tried Malathion and Sevin. But I am afraid of contaminating the house------I have a son and a dog.
I want to try the systemic kind of pesticide, the thing that you feed the plant and is absorbed. Like Imidacloprid. So the mealy bugs will just fall off.
You know where I can find it?
Thanks
