haven't come across that sa Hafele, I have seen similar but not the same as posted. also the size I have seen are small, from your picture I cannot say how big you need.

i was able to get that type of hinge sa hafele although its plated brass not chrome. And the size is a bit small so you can't use it on large boxes.

i am confused about your post.

this is a do it yourself site and the brethren here are bothered by even a tiny bit of dysfunction in everything inside and around the house or the garage...

some here because of experience and curiosity elevated themselves to not just do it yourselfers but they want to make things a little better.

in the case of this jewelry box we chose the best wood material possible and install the best accoutrements there is.

and i wanted to have those hinges...i know installing it would take half of the time making the box itself.

it does not matter how long it takes.
