Besides having your relatives ship them for you or carry them on the way back to PH, what else?
Direct shipping from the seller costs a lot.
Any experience from other couriers? pobox.ph, jac, etc?

i use Forex Cargo. So far reliable and reasonably priced. Surface shipping, though, so takes 4-5 weeks. Some discussion here: http://www.pinoyhandyman.com/showthread.php?p=19971

Unfortunately, my family just had a bad experience with Forex Cargo. My sister-in-law sent a balikbayan box last year. When we cross-checked the contents with her, a lot of items were missing.
I use Forex Cargo as well. They offer a shipping insurance option if you want peace of mind. I've use them many times, so far I have not experienced any problem.
I've been shipping with Forex for the last 4 years without any problem. Except one time when my box was water damaged. Luckily contents did not suffer damage. Their biggest balikbayan box is insured only up to $200. One might conisder added insurance if contents cost more. I believe they charge $5 for every $100 additional insurance.

What did Forex had to say about it. Did they rectify the problem?
