Soundproofing a generator

anybody know how I can go about sound proofing a generator?

Hi Kenneth,

Try making a box to cover the whole generator and line the inside with egg crate form foam. I see these in big gensets and they seem to work fine, Try to make the box as air tight as you can and provide intake and exhaust ports..

Just my 2 cents.
