Hi!

I am planning to build 'Gear Cases' and was wondering if anyone could help me out with any ideas on where to get the materials for it.

Here is what they would look like:

I would probably need these:

-laminated wood for the black parts on top of regular plywood.
-side/corner L-shaped aluminums
-Handles
-Foam for the inside (egg type)

Would anyone know where I could get the materials for this?

Greatly appreciated. Thanks.

For the handles and corner protectors -- I've seen some in the mall hardwares BUT for the corner protectors/bump guards, they're not the alum type.
For the alum angle bars -- try your favorite glass and alum shop, you might have to do some polishing if you want them to appear like so
Wood -- I don't think there're available that comes in "laminated form" already...i.e. you might have to do that yourself.
Foam -- last time I bought mine (for my speaker box), got it from a local upholstery shop. But they're softer than the ones usually used in gear boxes.

IMO -- add the locks/latches in your wish list -- and once you found some, maybe you could share where you got them -- coz I'm looking for those type of locks too. :P TIA

Bro this is not exactly what you are looking for but our boat builder's group has compiled a guide to Binondo. Here is the map but if you'd like to read the text or ask questions just click this: http://www.pinoyboats.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=371
