Ever wonder what those funny beep codes mean every time you power-on your computer and nothing happens - except that beep-beep sound that is driving your nuts? :)
Nah..you're computer is not warning you of a volcanic explosion or anything. Those beep codes simply tell what is going right - or wrong - with your computer. Now, while beeps may sound the same for a different variety of computers, those beeps vary in meaning depending on the BIOS manufacturer. So, two beeps on a computer with an Award BIOS may mean differently from the two beeps coming from a computer that has a Phoenix BIOS.
