Here's some pics of a just finished project. A small altar table which fits in a niche hence the small size.

Basically made of plywood with hardwood edges.
Using a shopbuilt straight edge, cutting sheets of plywood is manageable with good results.

Plywood cut to size. Using a straightedge also helps prevent tearout in plywood when cutting crosscut

Assembly of the table. Since the project called for something close to 50mm thickness i used 3 layers of 3/4" ply sandwiched together. I just used strips of 3/4 ply in the middle as a whole piece would have been wastefull.

With edging routed flush using a trim router

Since this was to be painted semi-duco, masilya was needed to have a smooth finish. Making my own masilya made sanding a lot easier.

Painted enamel using a roller. I don't normally use enamel because of its long drying times but had no choice.

the reason I asked if they were nailed is because when I used stikwell, it never seemed to dry completely... must be a bad batch I got before...

Hello,

I am looking for other altar designs on the web, yong simple lang at naka dikit sa wall, small designs lang pero ala ako mahanap. Any other site kung saan ako makakahanap ng mga altar designs/wood plans?
