will a garage scissor jack rated at 2 tons be able to lift a van? e.g. latest starex, hi-ace grandia?

i'm looking at the china ones rated 2tons selling for ~ 3k. its similar to the masada you posted, but just china

A crocodile jack. I also had a China 2 Ton before. I had no problem jacking up a RAV4. However I seldom leave the jack itself for support as I use jack stands asap. I felt it could even take more load for lifting.

yup, i'm just after lifting. i nevery go under with just these crocs lifting the vehicle. i always use jack stands.

Very good chance it should work then. Just be careful when buying China jacks. Most of these have no rebuild kits. Mine had a piston oil leak after several months of occasional use.

Best to ask the seller before purchasing.

I had the Tekiro 2 Ton crocodile jack I purchased from LYS Hardware. IIRC around 4,100 pesos. They say that they can service the jack if there is a problem. They claim it to be made in China but my research says otherwise. Looks like its Indonesian. Too confusing sometimes.

besides internal o-rings, what else are the replaceables inside a croc jack?
