    As a contractor of Industrial Floor Coat here is what you may do;

    If you're going to put a top coat paint such as polyamide, 80% to 100% Epoxy or Polyurethane Coat.

    1. Do not add another layer of concrete, I had never seen yet a Mason have an accurate level of floor.
    2. Full Grind Floor Surface to scrape outer layer skin, premature cement and others.
    3. V Grind on Large Cracks
    4. Vacuum Clean Floor Surface.
    5. Apply Deep Penetrating Sealing Epoxy.
    6. Application of Epoxy Mortar or Epoxy Putee on cracks.
    7. Apply Self Leveling Epoxy
    8. Soft Rough Grinding after 24 hrs cure of Self Leveling Epoxy
    9. You may now apply your top coat of choice.

    Note:
    Industrial coating is not commercially available but some you may find on Wilcon
    You may use Davies Power Floor as Self Leveling Primer

      Dear all, We are renovating an old house and adding an addition, so part of the slab is old plus new slab about 200sqm needs to be Epoxy coated. The slab may need to be leveled, with a layer of may be self-leveling cement/resin/epoxy (looking for a recommendation ). We want either a Terrazzo, Marble or Metallic look, may be with a border with slightly darker color. The final coat has to be non slippery because of young children. Would really appreciate a referral to a local company that sells these products or someone who can help me with proper tools. Thanks
