  • kawasaki 1 1/2 hp sprayer

I just bought a sprayer to clean my driveway and occasionally my cars. There was no instruction whatsoever on how to assemble the spray kit. The instruction sheet shows the flow speed using 20A, 28A and 30A. Question is: can I use a normal power point for the sprayer? For the assembly of the kit, I believe I can do it.

Bro it would help if you can tell us what sprayer you got and the specs. Power washer ba siya?

This may be too late but I'll post it anyway just in case you can still return that unit.

For non commercial use I would recommend the Bosch Aquatak 10. More than enough power to clean my driveway of algae.

You can plug it in directly to a normal household outlet. The best part is the motor turns on and off automatically press and release the water trigger!

Handy pa..ang issue lang maigsi ang pressure hose..kung mag lilinis ka ng sasakyan lagi mo ring iiba ang posisyon ng power washer.

That is the model that I bought. After reading the instruction sheet, I have not opened it up and I think it will not serve my purpose since I need to install a 20 Amp circuit breaker on it as shown in your picture. However, if I do that, can I draw the power from a normal household outlet?

I also had two other sprayers, B&D just like the Bosch and the Karcher. The Karcher burnt the motor and the B&D auto on and off switch has given up. I need a strong sprayer for my driveway which is about 50 meters long and 8 meters wide.

I have the same power sprayer we use for cleaning large areas. This model is suitable for longer hours of usage and this being run by induction motor makes it more practical for your purpose. Check the motor Amperage rating and if possible plug it in an independent line or distribution line based on it's indicated rating. However you mentioned that it is a 1.5HP motor therefore it must run w/in 9-10 Amps of current rating making this ok to plug in your standard household outlet but make sure you use a High quality C.O. that holds true to its acclaimed rating. If you can find an industrial type outlet with 15A or less then that will erase your worries. As much as possible use the outlet w/ little or no other appliance loaded in the same distribution during use of the power washer. Good luck.

Sorry folks. I am entirely new to this type of sprayer and I am at a loss trying to assemble the unit. There are three types of hoses with different diameters. Would help if a picture on a fully assembled unit be posted to help enlighten me..

                    @Havenofear,

Bugel meant that there are three nozzle inlets you will find in your unit of which the hoses are matched in the following order:

The largest opening for the suction end.
The medium sized opening for the return.
The smallest opening of w/c there are two, but you can use any one of these for the power sprayer gun.

You can't go wrong w/ any of these connections as you simply have to match each hose end to it's appropriate or matched size port. Good Luck!

I would like to thank all who have chipped in with advise. I am really grateful. I have asked my electrician to install a 20 amp dedicated outlet for this sprayer.

@ rpga4433, that is a great idea if it can be done :-). i'm also looking for an airless spray system here in PH. from what i have read about airless sprayer, 2 things needs to be address. first, the PSI required for airless is much higher than the one use for water, i think it's due to the viscosity of the latex paint. second, the nozzle may also need to be change to cater for the added viscosity. it would be nice if a mechanical engineer can review / analyze this idea to determine if its doable ... cheers

                          Boo!
