please recommend a reliable rotary/hammer drill for cement chiselling purposes, ok po ba yung mga mga ozito na brand surplus from australia?

    thank you!

Recently I removed the the 2-inch concrete topping of a 20 sqm room using an Ozito demolition hammer. I borrowed it from a friend who bought it several years ago, surplus. He used it to remove the tiles from their sala (I think he made a thread of that project here).

It does the job, that is all I can say. Haven't used any other demolition hammer so I can't compare.

And there is a tag on the power cord that says "Not for high frequency or industrial use".

thanks sir, pang house repairs lang naman, kailangan kasing ayusin yung drainage, papalitan ng mas malaking pipe so need to grind the concrete floor then use rotary hammer para madali yung pag sinsel ng semento

Bosch GHS 5 Demolition Hammer for demolition works only. If you have some drilling works you need a rotary hammer.

para sakin, yang JC Kawasaki parang fake. I tried once nag o-overheat sya. sobrang init nung planer na kailangan ko pa sya palamigin bago gamitin ulit.

                    thanks sir^

here's the thing, i need to upgrade the drainage pipe diameter to a bigger size laid underneath service area flooring so i need to cut the cement flooring chip off cement then replace pipe. area to be done is 4 sections and ang estimate ko worst case will be a 3 week project. so powertools i need are angle grinder and demolition hammer. options:

                    1. rent out the tools, estimate of 14k for 1 month
                    2. buy as recommended a bosch ghs 5 demolition hammer, price at 12.5k and angle grinder 7" for 6.6k - then i dont know when this tools will be used again, yung grinder siguro pwede pa
                    3. cheap out on new demolition hammer (ken brand at 9k) then take advantage of the 6mos warranty pag nasira within project period e pwede kagad ipa-service + the 6.6k angle grinder

                      issues:

Bosch GBH 3-28 DRE Rotary Hammer with SDS Plus 800W is byfar my first choice. and most affordable and reliable. hinde ka mag sisi dito. i have tried on concrete wall with CHB, floors na buhos. and also sa DRILLING power on Concrete floor are at ease.. its arround 12k+ i have compared it to other brand and models yan pinaka pasok sa entry level for Contractors like me. but if you're on a tight budget Bosch GBH 2-26 DRE 3 Function SDS+ Drill around 10k+ best entry level for first time and DIY use. almost as powerfull as GBH 3-28 DRE. at a lower price. and its a plus na mas lighter to handle. all of this is base on my own experience and i also personally operating it.

Pinaka murang Heavy Duty na 3-Modes Rotary Hammer, try mo MAKITA HR2470. 8,000 PLUS sya, depends on dealer.

thank you all for the suggestions, i bought the ozito rotary hammer drill 1500w for this project, an australian surplus tool but in very good condition, naisip ko kasi na wala ng paggagamitan after ng project so sayang kung bago pa ang bilhin ko.

                            thanks pinoyhandyman!
