  • Tools at Amazon

There are good deals in Amazon for branded power tools. I am considering only battery operated power tools At least if it is cordless I only use transformer during charging, Parang I don't like the idea of using transformer 220V to 110V on corded power tools while in use.

Before I buy, I'd like to check with you if this 110V corded power tools is worth the buck,
I tried Alonzo in Binondo, the prices in Amazon is still cheaper even if I factor the shipping cost from states.

    Thanks a lot.

    Consider this...

Portable power tools get plugged/unplugged frequently. And can be borrowed. That increases the chances of your 110V tool being plugged into a 220V outlet.

Sure, you can get it cheaper if you buy it from the US, but who do you run to when it breaks down or gets accidentally plugged to 220V?

Always consider after-market support when buying anything. After all, power tools aren't indestructible.

I bought a 2 tool bosch combo kit (drill and driver) late last year in Amazon. It arrived around February. Bought it during the black friday deal kaya mura talaga. These cordless drill/driver are awesome. I had a good time doing a palochina bench using these tools. I used my old avr servo motor type to supply the 110volts needed for the charger. Ingat lang talaga sa charging baka ma iplug mo sa 220volts. Do the necessary labeling on the charger. Battery in these tools last a long time. I also have a collection of bosch corded power tools bought locally.

I bought a lot of 110V power tools, both corded and cordless, and they all work fine as long as you use a heavy duty transformer. Just don't buy from HMR, they have 220V but the amperage is low so the motor eventually gives. If you want to buy local, go staright to Mayon Constryction Supply along Dasmarinas, Binondo for better prices on Makita. Lifetime tool na yan for a DIYer

I buy everything from Amazon, including tools. Currently I've been looking for a tool chest for my tools. I've been considering several options here https://mentoolbox.com/good-tool-chests/ . I am not going to be using it all day every day so am thinking it might be a good buy so I can organise some of my stuff. Any recommendations?

Not only you should check its voltage but also your postal code. From my personal experience, I can tell that sometimes your orders don't come on time because of wrong zip codes. Visit https://worldpostalcode.com/united-states/nevada/ and search for your delivery address. It won't take much time.
