I checked the installed C-purling for my roofs sheet bending by my own hands. it bends. What is the recommended thickness of c-purlins for roof sheets?
I believe the ones installed on your roof are the ordinary type which is by the way the same ones installed on our house (townhouse) as well. Sobrang nipis nya at talagang bendable by hand at konting exposure lang sa weather kalawang na agad.
I would recommend using the galvanized (G.I.) type. I used the 2"x3" by 6 meters @1.0 mm thickness for my garage roof shed a few months back. Nasa Php 350.00 per piece yata ang price.
Another note to consider is to look for the variety with the slight crease/fold dun sa wider side kasi mas sturdy ang design nya as compared dun sa flat variety na parang ordinary lang. I guess the design differs by the brand/manufacturer. Hope this helps!
