Aside from the usual Boysen, Davies, ISland, Rain or Shine etc we find in major hardwares, can you share your experience with Alternative paints such as Sphero, Manor, Tuff Seal, Hyper tone etc? there seems to be a noticeable price difference from the big brands. How's the quality? Would you recommend? thanks!

Up for this thread ...... alternatives to the usual paint brands are welcome.
I've used SPHERO many times before, but it's for their automotive paints - which is what they are primarily known for.
I have no complaints about their automotive paints, full-bodied and colors are spot on. My only complaint is the price - there's really a big difference between plant prices (GLOBESCO) and hardware/paint center prices. Around P300 or more difference per gallon.

thanks for the "up". I cant comment on their automotive paints, but ive seen them frequently around different shops i visited, so they must be fine. What im more interested is how well they match up with the usual branded paints in the market. 🙂

Match-up ...... quality wise, if the quality of SPEHRO's automotive paints are an indication, then I will assume that their other products will be okay.
As for the price, like I said, SPHERO is expensive once it reaches the hardware shops ....... once you get them straight from their factory sales dept, then it becomes a whole lot cheaper.
UP ...... more feedback on the other lesser known brands is welcome.
