Hello all, any experience or testimonials on their waterproofing paint products? I'm about to do waterproofing of my roofdeck and I'm thinking of using one coat of their Prime-R and 7 coats of their elastomeric paint. Thanks for any feedback.

Re: FlexSeal (Campbridge) Elastomeric paints

Folks, I decided to go ahead and get flexseal waterproofing paint for my roofdeck waterproofing. I bought enough pails of prime-r concrete primer & sealer and elastomeric paints at two colors from campbridge. They delivered my order and I got 5% discount. Last Sunday I was able to do the first coat of prime-r on half of my roof deck only since it rained in the afternoon. Luckily almost all of it was already dry. So far it's raining so the prime-r is left there for almost 4 days now. So far the two leaks I had was gone with just the 1st coat of prime-r. I would have thought a picture would be good later.

Sorry you did not get the answers you wanted.

I can see, however, that you had also posted in a another thread re roofdeck waterproofing. I had also participated in that thread and, hopefully, you found some answers there.

My roofdeck is tiled so I went with some waterproofing solution for the grouting. I also used elastomeric paint for the parapet walls. So far so good.

I did not use elastomeric on the floors because they're tiled. My deck is also a high traffic area. I feared elastomeric paint may scratch. Hope your numerous layers will work.

Pre pagka alam ko yung primer ng flexseal is for concrete only. I called flexseal about this and they suggested me to use boysen red lead primer for the roof then yung elastomeric paint ng flexseal.

Re: FlexSeal (Campbridge) Elastomeric paints

hello Joms, Balarila, apology just got back now in the forum. busy scouting for hardwood for my flooring. I have several native hardwood now piling up to almost 1000 board feet... this is addictive.
anyways, Joms, it is actually a concrete slab roofdeck. it seems to work fine no leak of any sort but it is too early for now to tell.
hi Balarila, after the several coats a tapping was added so the waterproofing was buried now and then smooth cement finish. I'll be planning to coat later the smooth finish with Destiny's tripple x rubberized paint. I think this is the same material being painted on garage floors.
