Good day guys! In your experience, what's better for ceiling? What are the advantages and disadvantages for each of them. Thanks in advance! :2thumbsup:

People today usually use Hardilte, or HardiFlex light. It is inexpensive.

What is the best way to cut hardiflex light? I need to do some ceiling repairs. Can I use a circular saw with 60T? Will it dull unnecessarily my saw blade?

There is a circular saw blade specifically for fiber cement boards.

Don't use your woodworking blade for ficem boards. Consider yourself lucky if you're able to finish your first cut.

What is the thickness? I just used a Stanley utility knife to cut the ficem board no dust to risk my lungs. The draw back after 2 or 3 cuts I sharpened the blade.

Around 1/4inch maybe even less. I still need to remove the damaged part and determine the right thickness. I will try your suggestion. Thank you.

Mine was 3.5mm so 1/4 will do. Next week I will also install ceiling 🙂

When i bought a hardiflex from a local hardware, they recommrnded using a hardiflex scouring knife. Bought it at 175pesos . It is very effective and easy to use.

I can use my cordless driver to screw it. Kahoy yung support sa ceiling. Hirap ako gumamit ng hammer pag pukpok sa ceiling. Baka mangawit ng todo. Baka pag pako gamit ko magcrack yung ibang dugtong.. thank you
