Guys, anyone here using this type of siding/board ?

It's a fiber-cement board (plank) whose finish has the appearance of wood grain ..... however, the ones locally available from JHardie aren't "haspi" enough for me.

I've seen planks before that mimics wood with so much grain - much better wood finish than the JHardie ones ...... does anyone what other brands offer such a product?

By the way, I've mostly seen these planks used as accents for iron gates.

Thanks.

The other brand is SCG Smartwood. They have the wood grain cement board. This product is Thailand made. I think Mariwasa is the Philippine distributor. http://www.mariwasa.com/?file=kop41.php

Seato Trading in 20th ave cor Tuazon in Cubao is one of the dealer.

Thanks @bryant ...... I'll keep this info in my archives. I'll be using these planks within the next few months.

You can just contact James Hardie. They respond within the day. My problem is planks really aren't aesthetically pleasing as you believe.
What's important: paint the area.
