Ideal Thickness for Wall and Ceiling Partition

Mga Boss tanong ko lang po kung anong ideal na thickness na ginagamit sa wall at ceiling. Nag pa qoute po kasi ako and ang offer nila is 4.5mm hardiflex para sa wall and 3.5mm para sa drop ceiling ko. Gusto ko po sana is gawing 9mm ung para sa wall para less ang noise and maging mas matigas para pwedeng sabitan ng picture frame in the future (without finding the steel furring) at ung ceiling ay gawin kong 6mm ang thickness. By the way 3 inch po ung steel furrings na gagamitin. Thank you po for any suggestion.

Personally I don't see anything wrong with what you desire using thicker materials for your wall partition, its just that
there will be additional cost. Or if you will follow the 4.5 mm Hardiflex, may I just suggest to make double cladding for
the partition of two rooms, you know how it is, Hardiflex are brittle.

For the ceiling, contractors will suggest or recommend Hardiflex light cut in 2' X 2' or
2' X 4' and provided you install ceiling insulation to maximize heat deflection. ;):agree:
