anyone know where to buy landscape fabric?

its supposed to go under the paving stones, so weeds wont grow through them, while still allowing water to be absorbed through the stones and into the soil.

available na ba ito sa pinas?

Re: landscape fabric?

I hope somebody replies soon. I have a pocket lawn on my premises that is slowly being reclaimed by weeds. I am losing the battle from weeds especially since the onset of rains.

I intend to put new bermuda pods and I want to put this before I lay new garden soil. But I hope it will not be too costly.

Re: landscape fabric?

I had the same problem before, and the main concern is to stop growth of weeds while waiting for new garden soil and grass seeds. If so, Then the answer can be a simple one.
Plants need both water and sun to grow. Block one of these and it slows or stops the process.
What i did at our place is to cover the small lawn with several layers of newspapers or anything opaque so light doesn't get thru. we just made sure there were enough small rocks to weigh down everything and not to tear any of the sheets.
We were able to hold back a couple months atleast, until the strong rains punch thru the sheets.
After that i bought some cheap tarps at the mall hardware, and stretched over the same area for several more months, until by plans and budget were all in place to have that area concreted into a parking area.
We were able to cut down all the weeds and discouraged mosquitoes from infesting the place for almost a year then.
Hope the idea helps.

Well, that may indeed become a problem so that you may need to slope the tarp in some way to avoid puddles. Main thing if you like to try out the covering scheme, it should totally deprive those weeds any benefit of the sunlight. ...No sunlight = No food for the weeds. GoodLuck.
