Well sana nga bro, may nakaka alam at makatulong. Ah first time for me to hear this "TETRA BOARD",hehehe, looks new and interesting, alam ko lang kasi eh those tetra packs made into fashion bags, slippers, small boxes, bayongs, bricks I think and some gift items.

Maybe you can get in touch with the person you heard it first, tracing where he or she got the information and so on, who knows you might reach the very enterprising people recycling these tetra packs. Or you may get in touch with TESDA, they have a section I think for cottage industries, this may be part of their project, recycling tetra packs and others,maybe they can give you directions where these finished boards are delivered and sold. 😉

Hintay pa rin, maybe there are other members here that have heard of it and can give information where you can buy them boards. :p

Actually sir ginamit ito ng Mr. Doughnut
ito yung mga lamesa nila

kinontact o na rin po yung tao, kaso 1 year na di pa sumasagot

bahagya ko rin po itong napanuod sa TV kaso sinabi lang sa TANZA Cavite ang PLANTA

Balak ko po kasing gawing sahid sa pinagagawa kong bahay

as much as possible mga RECYLED ang balak ko pong GAMITIN

MATATAGALAN naman po ako kung FIBER GLASS gagamitin ko po

apparently this is an initiative of tetrapak corporation(didnt even know this was a company wehehe). their partner for manufacturing these boards in the Philippines is the Trans-National Paper Corporation, whose contact details are available here:

i figured its worth a shot if you havent tried contacting them yet.

okay to ah.. sabi nung article "cheaper than plywood, would not warp and was resistant to termites." parang mas okay kesa dun sa mga laminated particle wood na gamit sa mga cabinet at computer table... 🙂 sana nga may makakita kung saan nakakabili at magkano 🙂

actually mga sir nakita ko na nasa Mister Doughnut ito me batik batik na design yun yung mismong printout ng tetra pak makinis na cya so no need para piturahan, ako naman po gagamitin ko pong pang flooring yung pinagawa ko pong 3 storey bakay at semento yung frame tapos me mga bakal na pagkakabitan nyan TETRA BOARD na yan, yan mis mo ang magiging sahig ayoko po kasi ng semento mabigat masyado yung ground floor lang at roof deck ang sementado the rest yan po ang balak kong ilagay

Brad, i just hope what you are planning for your flooring works out, may I suggest you do more research or tests on this kind of material (tetra boards) if it is sturdy enough that can carry heavy loads too. May we know how you intend to install this boards or will it be just on top of another 3/4" plywood ??? :rolleyes:
