Hi,

Have you seen this stuff locally? So far, the screw/bolt shops that I've gone do not carry these.

actually i really don't have any picture attached 🙂

they are just normal metric bolts, just made out of plastic/nylon instead of metal. in particular i'm in the hunt for a couple of M8 x 12 x 1.25. (are you referring to rosco?)

Yea, this is a hard one locally, but I'm seeing a lot of these in UK online stores. Only if I have a purchase in UK that I can tag this along, but unfortunately, I don't have any 🙁

Re: plastic/nylon bolts

Don't recall mention of bolts/nuts specifically in the boating or other forum, but T. Alonzo near Ongpin was mentioned as a source of 'engineering plastics (nylon)' and P. Florentino near Ongpin for 'nylon and teflon round bars'. (Was Florentino Torres meant, not P. Florentino?)

Checked the tow row pics here but didn't see anything promising in the front labels.

How about RS Philippines, seems to be a source of 'everything' if you can afford the prices.

I also hope that someone can identify a local source.

Re: plastic/nylon bolts

A bit OT that I wish we have locally are plastic nails. In US and Europe, they're used on boatbuilding and applied with a nailgun. The heads can actually be planed off. Check here.
