Plywood Choices...

I have just been given a sample of 1/4" marine plywood with a Narra veneer front and Lauan at the back...


compared to what I regularly get...

sample lang ito, good thing was given 3 pcs of 2 x 4 feet to try...

meron daw 18mm, will find out bukas. I got a commissioned piece kasi and I recommended this plywood but 18mm. will be making something like this... guitar rack, I think you will like it too.

The Tuff brand of plywood, made by EMCO, does not have a pretty veneer but I'm very very sure it is THE best plywood in the country. The only problem is only a few very few vendors sell it because it is significantly costs more: P500 per sheet of 5 mm.

yup, and for 18mm the price is Php1,800.00 each... but 18mm is really 18mm...

it is very heavy, the only plywood that I cannot carry alone...

From which distributor did you get it Timber? I heard the one in Paco does not stock it anymore. I got my last load all the way from Bulacan.

at 1,800 each, i think that was the price of my (semi not so good) phenolic ply.

I'd get one of those for future jigs. How many plies that it have?

the store from which I got it from still has about 20 to 40 pcs, if I estimated it right, the store name is S & L hardware and it is a bodega only.

Mga sir, may I ask where po kayo kumukuha ng magagandang plywood with nice veneers.
