you might find it harder to find a 9mm plywood there since most hardware stores carry 12mm or 1/2'' and 18mm or 3/4" plywood. I am aware btw that 12mm and 1/2" are not the same but since the later is undersized, it fall perfect to 12mm.
I never bought plywood while I'm in Cebu but I do often get Mahogany there, a bit distant from Mactan though... unless you need a large amount, I suggest the local hardware stores should have them available, if you are close enough from them, you might even have them deliver for a small fee or even free...

Thanks for the reply, I have tried 2 hardware stores who only stock 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 18mm plywood.
1/2" and 3/8" would be ok for my purpose to build a sawboard. I only need 1 sheet of each.

May be overkill, but if you can't find 9 or 12 mm from usual stores, an option would be the higher quality TUFF brand of marine plywood by Emco Plywood. Supposedly there are two dealers in that area, Vic Enterprise, 232-1661 and MP Traders, 345-2991. Or contact Emco rep directly, 922-TUFF-PLY, [email protected].

Their 9 and 12 mm are both 7 ply. 12 mm is the one in the middle below.

if the saw board you have in mind is a circular saw edge guide, 1/4" plywood bottom with a 3/4" guide should do the trick, would even be advantageous since it will only reduce you depth of cut by 1/4". the bottom board is mainly there as a blade reference anyway...

try Evergreen 032-3462096 look for ann. am not sure if they do have 9mm but they have lot of marine plywood including furniture grade and boat making marine plywood.
