any recommended place where i can get these stuff? i prefer somewhere that can do it all, ie cut and thread (thread preferably)

kung pwedeng tinge, mas maganda because i only need a few for a specific project (not water related 🙂 ). i need 1" and 3/4" the idea is i need to have the 3/4" slide inside the 1". i don't mind if i had to remove a few mm's either inside the 1" or outside the 3/4" as long as it will fit. i'm not after an interference fit, but just enough so as it won't wobble. i just need a smooth slide.

those found in the mall hardware (though cut already to specific lengths that i need, in the likes of around 12") have the 3/4" too wobbly inside the 1" that's why i need a sched 40.

based on the charts i found, sched 80 will be too much, hence the 40. but of course best for me to see it in actual.

Re: schedule 40 GI pipes, 1" and 3/4"

Bro spyghost,

You cannot buy pipes in hardware stores selling steel and pipes etc if its patingi tingi, not even half of the length of the pipes, you have to buy the whole 6 meters long (20 feet long).Perhaps your best source for pa tingi tingi will be the metal junk shop in your place, you can buy them pipes per kilo and that if they have the sched 40 you are looking for.

Just in case you have them, you can bring your pipes to a machine shop for threading or there are some hardware shops that accept pipe threading for all sizes.

GOOD LUCK !! 😉

i am pipe seller but like what sir rosy said... wala po yata nagbebenta ng tingi.. meron mga maiikling pipe... upto 12" length lang usually.. nipple tawag but price will be different.. mas mahal ng malayo..

also you have to be aware... na ang schedule 40 natin sa hardwares are not real schedule 40... so... you have to tell them.. yung tunay na schedule 40 gusto niyo..
