Hi,

I'd like to construct a fence between my house and my neighbor. My neighbor has a cemented fence already of about 2 meters high. The problem is, they have a stair leading to their 2nd level where they hang their washed clothings. When they go up this stair, they can peep at our side which is a window of our dining room. We wanted the windows open for ventilation but without being seen by our neighbor.

I need to construct a thin fence because the space between the window and the neighbor's fence is a little less than a meter. The thin fence would be about 3 meters high and about 8 meters long.

Please help by recommending materials that I could use. The less expensive the price, the better. =)

Thanks as always.

Re: Thin Fence

Madali rin syang tanggalin kung may plano kayo n aiba in the future. Cheap, thin, really suits your requirements sir.

Re: Thin Fence

You can also try polycarbonate sheets.

Re: Thin Fence

Thanks for all your suggestions.

Please keep it coming for more options.

BTW, for the polycarbonate sheets and skylight fiberglass, what should I do to ensure that it can it withstand strong winds?

Re: Thin Fence

For polycarbonate you can construct a frame from 1x1 aluminum square tubing. Attach it to the concrete wall with tox and screws or anchor bolts Then attach the polycarbonate to the frame with SS nuts and bolts.

It won't cut down light and will not rust. You can add accent lighting to it for effect :p Just make sure you don't build it too high or the wind will break it.
