Don't know if this will work. When I did a pair of sliding doors for my house, I used a pair of of tensioning pulleys used in car aircons. Its used to tension the belts for the compressor. Readily available in car aircon supply stores. It doesn't have the support bracket of the one in the picture, but those can be built flat bar steel. It also has a built in bearing in the pulley.

thanks sir timber! this will be a whole day expedition for me. 🙂 i will also try stores that sells casters and those egg crate wheels.

the tensioning pulley seems like a nice alternative. but as much as possible a round or triangular guide rail is best cause it naturally repels dirt and small stones on the floor. a flat or canal like guide will just gather debris and will need daily sweeping.

i already asked a machine shop if they can fab a piece for me. but they said its hard to make a half moon roller. the best they can make is semi triangular or a spool like roller.

Instead of looking for such rollers look for these roller bearings instead

OR

You can use two rollers in perpendicular so they would create a "V" groove which is just similar to what you use instead of a half circle like what you use.

thing is i already bought a 3/4 gi pipe. thinking that the half moon roller is readily available.

if i use the v type roller as sir jarod suggested, hindi kaya the v roller might eat through the round pipe? since hindi sila lapat sa isat isa?

a friend of mine who is a purchaser for a machine shop goes to ongpin all the time. according to him what he usually sees are v or spindle like roller. he never saw the half moon design.

thanks for the suggestions and i might just wait for the seller in sulit to get stocks.

^Or you might try visiting the shops yourself. That way, you will not be bounded by a single supplier and you get to know other shops that you may need to visit in the future for other items. If the hardware shops fail, visit the bearings centers.

Bring a picture of what you need. They may have alternative at par or better than what you need.

All you need is a little time and effort and you will never go home empty handed. There are a lot of good Binondo eats to keep you searching 😀

Try going to Binondo area or try Evangelista street in Quiapo, the street is full of industrial shops, left and right, simply ask around, I'm pretty sure you'll find what you are looking for.
