where to find per Kilo Steel in pasig

guys im looking for per kilo steel arround pasig rosario or near by.

hope any one can help me out..

also it would be great to have listing of per kilo steel around metro manila.

Not sure where in Pasig you are but I get my occasional steel from junkshops on Sumulong highway in Antipolo. If that's an option for you, let me know and I will try to provide a map.

HI rpga4433,

Where are you coming from, are you from Cainta or Pasig area ? If I remember right, there used to be a shop near Cainta junction selling irregular sizes of steel bars, angle bars and other by weight. These are not the used or rusted kind of steel, these are the excess cuts I think they buy from a near by steel factory and sells it per kilo.

I am not so sure now if they are still there, location was somewhere along the side of Mercury drugstore, baybayin mo lang yung side na yun starting from Cainta junction going to the direction of Ever Gotesco Mall. :detective:

There is another one that I know somewhere along sumulong Highway, its a large scrap yard owned by two brothers, I think its MBQ Trading.

I've seen two near C. Raymundo/Ortigas Extension Intersection yun isa bago umakyat ng tulay on the right side. The other one turn right at C. Raymundo few meters on the left side.

I know a few of those. Al-Metal in J.P. Rizal St., Lamuan, Marikina CIty. Between Roosevelt College and South Supermarket. Its on the same side as South Supermarket and Roosevelt. There are two in Mambugan, Antipolo along Sumulong hiway towards Antipolo. A few hundred meters before the Valley Golf entrance and on the same side. Not in Pasig City though, but if your project requires to go the distance then you have some choices. Al-Metal has more inventory of new steel products, while those in Mambugan are mostly from scrap metals and not new ones.
