hi,
its time for me to re-paint our metal gate...
the usual procedure
- strip old paint
- remove rust (turco or kiskis)
- primer
- paint
now for the painting, how can i achieve "strokeless finish"? i don't opt to spray kasi hindi ganun ka practical for gate... maamoy, saka maraming lilinisin afterwards. besides i don't have a compressor.
if i'll be using brush, there will be brush strokes. if i'll be using roller, there will be some bubbles.
any ideas?

You could get it powder coated - then there would be no need to prime it.
Cut corners never ends in a professional result. Don't kid yourselves that you can buy cheap and expect it will last long.

Perhaps a good quality brush and a well thinned paint will give you the strokeless look?
Not sure if there is some kind of additive that could help make the paint dry smoother.
