Had a chance to have my vacation leave yesterday and manage to order plywood sheet for the build because during my day off all hard wares are close so I a lot 1 day for the plywood ordering, unfortunately they can’t have it deliver that day so I will wait for Saturday to start my project. Just to really motivate my self to build the router table I play with my router and the router plate just to excite me for the upcoming build.

This is my first time to try the router plate on my Triton router ever since I got it from Timber.

First I have to remove this quick lock in order attach the router plate and also the base plate.

Pretty exited now. 😉

Re: Deluxe Router Table build

Just amaze me when I put the first screw all holes align as if it was part of the router. And also dead center.

Here you can see the table micro winder perfect alignment .

Re: Deluxe Router Table build

And the template guide perfectly seated and mounted on one of the included insert rings.

I’m really happy and can’t wait for Saturday to start my build. Honestly speaking if Timber is around I will kiss him to show my appreciation LOL. :p

Re: Deluxe Router Table build

Its been months planning for the build in order for me not to repeat my creation I created some pointers “notes” on what I want to a router table.

1. It should carry a lot of storage for routers, router bits and router accessory.
2. The correct height and table real state should not be for granted.
3. It should move around with ease yet stable, so a mobile base should be incorporated
4. Panic switch and safety features.
5. And lastly it should last for years because I’m very lazy building shop furniture.

So I ask our good friend Sunny ‘s router table plan.

Re: Deluxe Router Table build

At present here is my router table.

Its just a counter top sitting on a standard power tools legs.

I start by prepping the plywood sheet to manageable size, used a straight edge and a circular saw.

Quick pass to the table saw for its final size.

Re: Deluxe Router Table build

To the panel cutter to square the edges.

All sides and partitions cut to size.

Check for square.

Re: Deluxe Router Table build

Later to find out that my plywood is under ¾” . So this is the correct setup minus 1 chipper.

Finish batch cutting it takes me 10mins to batch cut all, its fast when its setup.

Partially cut the toe kick at the table saw.

Finishing it up with a jigsaw.
