every inch counts in my place (you have been here) and using the T-tracks instead of C-clamps gives me 2 or 3 " more space on the side. might not be much but that is a lot for me... hirap ng maliit na space. 🙂

would you believe that the first one I built had all the bells and whistles and built like a tank? all MDfF construction. but lacked beauty... sold it as if I was giving it away... 🙂

here are a few pics of my previously bench top rt now a floor standing rt..like i said in another forum that a bench type router isnt going anywhere coz i am lazy to remove it there.and while its there gripped by the front vise, i cant use the other big purpose of the workbench. besides, the benchtop rt got no other shop space except the floor.

still considers this rt as a prototype of another prototype of another prototype.lol

support are gmelina and rails and legs joined using thru mortise with additional screws to hold the pieces together. stained with Ace red mahogany with two coats of PYE brand poly.

below the table is the dust and noise compartment covered on three sides using laminate floor planks. i made a bit and wrench compartment to maximise space. the panic switch is made from mdf painted red and what is fancy is the white sticker i ordered for 15 bucks..i am too lazy now to carve stickers.lost are old days when i had the motivation plus the arthritis hitting my finger joints..aww).

whats behind the paddle switch is a plastic "knob" screwed to indent the off button.
