Re: my router table build.

@ jon, tanong lang... ang phenolic ba na yan ay katulad sa phenolic na ginagawang rest room partition?

Re: my router table build.

yes fortnapz, you are right, ginagamit sa restroom partition yung phenolic board.

there are phenolic board sheet goods available, like 3/4 thick, but not as hard and flat as these type of phenolic board.

sir timber, helps us in availing the board.

Re: my router table build.

Good progress sir Jon.

Btw, why did you choose epoxy primer/enamel over the other stuff? Is Epoxy enamel different from the other (quick dry) enamel?

these are left-over paints, lying around for a year or so,
sayang naman kung hindi ko pa gagamitin.
these are ( epoxy enamel ) durable yet very glossy paint.
very different from the quick drying we usually use.
uso naman overkill dito sa PHM diba...:D 😮

Re: my router table build.

DISASTER STRUCK !!!

saturday, and the family have a scheduled visitation of my swmbo's mother.
and confident of having a time to build a hole for the phenolic board before we go to our trip,
i proceeded with the activity.
and this is what happen,

an oversized hole for the phenolic board to fit into....

i thought the double sided tape has done a good job on holding my guide.
at first i sighted a slight movement, but still i proceeded with my activity.

frustrated, very frustrated...
"mahirap talaga ang nagmamadali"...this is my lesson

Re: my router table build.

still proceeded with the build the next day...
you are very right bigfoot2..." dumb mistakes will always be dumb mistakes, unless.....
you learn from it, and then it will be a learning experience"...

i still managed to glue the phenolic board to the plywood
