Re: my router table build.

@ Violaine

May of last year, these were the prices of what I bought:
5mm = 500
9mm = 900
12mm = 1,200

Parang 100 pesos per mm. Not sure what the prices are now.

Just to give you an idea of the quality, the 5mm has 5 ply and the 12mm has 7ply. Masinsin. And both sides are usable.

Re: my router table build.

P100/mm ... easy to remember ... those were the days

Last I checked,
3 mm - anyone know the story with this?
5/5 - P500 -> 560 -> 600
9/7 - P900 -> 960 -> 1,100
12/7 - P1,200 -> 1,450
15 mm - not manufactured?
18/11 - P1,800 -> 2,000

Re: my router table build.

been very very busy...
manage only to put grooves for the drawer bottom.
i don't have a dado blade,
so my ts blade's kerf will be used to create the desired width of the cut
and a shim will allow for a single set-up for cutting the groove to fit the drawer bottom...

then do a sinlge pass...

remove the shim and make another pass...

test fit the grooves with the 1/4 plywood for the drawer bottom...

@jon,

Re: my router table build.

ryo,

and can't take advantage of the cool climate
very busy lang talaga...
toxic sa work...:outcold:

anyway here's an update of a typically slow rt build.
here are the finished drawers ...

some are not that square,
my plans are to make the drawer's front flush to the wood-edging.
hirap pala gumawa ng ganon, i should have made it overlapping the cabinet,
like the very first time i made a drawer.

anyway,it was a joy and lots of learning experience building these drawers.

to continue,
putting the wood edging...
used finishing nails and nailed it deep down with a nail set ( medium size )

later i'll be trimming those excess woodedging...

Re: my router table build.

attaching the false front to the drawer,
but first have to smoothen first the pieces with a handplane...

a dab of small amount of glue...

then screwed.

Re: my router table build.

fitted the drawer...

this what happens when the drawers are not square,
it shows when you fit the drawer.

got to find solutions later on...

and here's another one,
a fifth grader will be laughing,
once they saw that little space at the upper left corner...
kakaasar!!!
paulit ulit na nga akong nag-divide, gumamit pa ako ng calculator, may gap pang lumitaw...
i really hate math !!!:mad:

dumarami ang problemang dapat solusyunan !!! :surfing:

to be continued ulit,
all this activities done this weekend.
pasundot-sundot lang kasi,...
