time to rest bro... malamang nga inaantik ka na :D... nice work on the front vise, gotta see the tail vise in action...

hehehe,ok naman ang action ng tail vise as well as the face vise,nice grip on the workpiece.next time i'll post pics on the vises in action.thanks and time to sleep na may work pa bukas.goodnight and mabuhay!

MY NEW WORKBENCH!

Very very nice Jon! You need a pat on the back for this masterpiece! A sliding deadman would be a great help as well. The first workbench I saw made from scratch and I'm really impressed when I saw the final product.

yes doc v,marami pang kulang like the storage unit underneath,planning to build a 1 drawer unit and an open shelf below.and a round dogs for clamping obscure object...pahinga muna for the meantime.hope to see you at the philconstruct activities.thanks doc.

this magazine makes the job easier in building this wb.it has the complete plans and cuttng list,except from some minor modification,like installing the vises(tail and face).

haha..sabi ko na nga ba eh..the build looks familiar...i also got that shop notes magazine for building that cabinet makers wb...but mine was patterned to another.

yes doc v,i was planning a trestle type wb,but the big storage underneath makes me decide to build the cabinet makers.i've seen yours and timber's wb build.

yes very heavy,a nice character for a wb...rough estimate lang ito sir ha...4.2k for both the vises;4k for the TABLE TOP.the rest siguro less than 5k which includes the screws,bolts & nuts and glues,1.5k for the finishes that includes the BLO,ace satin poly & ace paint thinner.it took me 2 1/2 mths to build this project,because of the availability of time, because of my job & budget factors,ang mahal ng wood.
