Re: My workbench build (Jonathancruz)

@jarod, nagtataka nga ako sir jarod why my pics are not seen at the post, why is the image has been moved?anyway thanks very much sir jarod. @ violane, i used elmer's wood glue, the blue one, there are also elmer's wood glue available in white bottle, seen it only at sm moa. yes your right i do enjoy woodworking.sometimes nag leave ako sa work para lang magwoodwork.and yes very tiring, kaso you dont feel tired lalo na kung gusto mo tapusin isang segment ng project mo,nakaka-addict talaga.what more pa nga kung satisfied ka sa result ng project. i usually work alone, but my wife does gives a helping hand whenever i need help.

Jon, If you look closely mejo may naliligaw na mga words or letters sa image codes mo. Codes are quite strict in syntax kaya konting mali mo lang di agad gagana. As we know Image codes has the syntax:

Now, once na may mabawas or madagdag na character in between nung code, di na mag aappear yung image correctly.

One good example is your post at around 11:30 PM or post #36. Wala halos laman yung post mo other than:

http://i1212.photobucket.com/albums/cc448/jonathanscruz68/DSCN6723.jp g">dry fitting then screwed...pg[/IMG]

The reason why ganyan ang lumabas is dahil may string na "dry fitting then screwed..." na naligaw sa URL ng image mo sa gitna ng image code. Meaning nagkaroon ng unexpected characters within sa image code kaya ang nakikita mo ay yung tulad ng nasa itaas na "This image or video has been moved or deleted".

Actually ang tunay na code na napost mo ay:

http://i1212.photobucket.com/albums/cc448/jonathanscruz68/DSCN6725.j %5BIMG%5D dry fitting then screwed...pg[/IMG]

Ni-higlight ko yung mga sumobra na characters at mejo nagka-rambol rambol. Kung aayusin natin ganito dapat ang post mo:

dry fitting then screwed...

So after mo mag-post, check mo lang ulit yung result. Kapag may sirang links or images, tignan mo lang uli baka may nagkahalo sa codes and edit mo na lang. Sayang naman yung hirap ng pagtake, upload at post ng pics mo kung di makikita ng ibang members.

Hope this helped.

Re: My workbench build (Jonathancruz)

sige jonathan, try to be here before 2pm ha? might have things to do kasi.
now about getting tense... 😀
getting excited is ok, but do not get tense, especially when you are using powertools. relax lang and enjoy the work, but do concentrate at the work on hand. it is suppose to be a relaxing hobby. I always were like that before, always wanting to complete something when the end is at sight. but after ruining several works bec of pushing work to be complete even when I'm no longer in a proper state of mind or physical condition.
Now, when I feel tired or not in the mood or not feeling creative, I walk away form work. it is what keeps me from forcing work to be completed, often the result is not as good as I envisioned it to be...

Re: My workbench build (Jonathancruz)

now i'm into the hardest part of my WB build, the benchtop.bought the lumber from our neighboring hardware,it is 2x4 kiln dried.i suggest that you have planner/thicknesser to do the job easily and accurately. because you cannot purchase number of lumber with exact dimensions(kakaingit talaga ang mayroong 2012NB dyan).

Re: My workbench build (Jonathancruz)

i end up doing it manually, used a stanley no. 5 hand plane which does the job very well.and i take this process as an advantage, mag praktis magkatam ng kahoy.

Re: My workbench build (Jonathancruz)

of course doing it at my ever reliable old WB.notice that i used a 1x stock and a couple of clamps as stops for my planning.
