Re: My workbench build (Jonathancruz)

and again, the never ending muscle building planing.used the no.5 for the initial planing, for flattening the top.and then the no. 4 for smoothening.

Wow...Jonathan galing naman ng workbench project mo bro. I can imagine the amount of skills and patient you poured on this one. Ganyan ba ang effect ng nananalo sa contest? he he...you're so inspired bro and i admired you for being that. Ang galing ng mga joineries mo especially the M/T, how i wish i can also produce that kind of mortise and tenons ang linis kasi ng pagkakagawa mo.

As of now im still in the middle of my all-pocket-screw-joineries entertainment center project but so busy with my monthly reports and meetings kaya di pa matapos.

Tapusin mo na yan Jonathan, congrats in advance for the success of this project.

looking back at your wips, buti hindi nag cupping yung boards with all the clamps place on top...it should have been alternate over and under and a few clamps located at the joint ends.

nag order ka na sana ng commercial bench dogs! hehe

o baka meron kana.;)

Re: My workbench build (Jonathancruz)

btw, what is the width and length of the table top?

it looks like a cabinet makers bench.

thanks bro, what can i say much more inspiring ang mga comments mo.patience lang talaga, need not in a hurry.and then focus lang sa work, and a lot of researches, dapat talaga may school of woodworking ,kokopyahan kita sa exam, hehehe. the reason why i make this wb,is para mapraktis.parang steping stones ba in woodworking.kaya mo rin to bro, talagang patience lang.hinay hinay lang sa pagpurchase ng materials,l;ike the wood, since malapit lang kami sa hardware i buy muna in increments for certain segments of the project.then i buy kung ano na kailangan sa susunod. yes pre malapit na matapos to,thanks very much sa comments mo,and your all-pocket-screw-joineries entertainment center mo,i-post mo dito ha,can't wait na rin makita project mo.thanks and mabuhay ka armand!

actually doc ang nag cup yung pipe when clamping,i only have 4 sets of pipe clamps, puro 6" f clamps lang marami ko.i saw your wb wips, kulang lang talaga ako sa tools. and since you cannot get a uniform thickness of wood, tiniaga ko nalang talaga sa hand planing.the width(depth) of the table top is 34 5/8 and the lenght(which is actually the width) is 71 3/4.shopmade lang ang benchdogs, looks like effective naman ang clamping.next time nalang ang commercial.cabinet maker?wait mo nalang doc finish product, hehehe, cheers and thanks.see you sa philconstruct and sali ka sa bosch contest ha.
