with the benchtop flip over drilled holes for bolt entry into the benchtop edges,as well as holes for the nuts.

leather is usually placed in the front face of the dogs for additional grip and to avoid marring the material being clamped.

have to send the screw vise to the machine shop and cut the screw to shorter lenght to accomodate the sliding dog.

time for face vise installation.the vise is way too heavy for me to install,fortunately i have this heavy f clamp i bought long ago,thought i will never use it.use the clamp to fix the vise for installation.and used lag screwed as fastener.
