now its time to make a notch or groove for the inner jaw of the face vise.this will serve as the rear half jaw of the face vise.make a jig to create the notch.rout...and the result.

another coat,this time mix it with satin poly and paint thinner(mineral spirits),with mixing ratio of 1/2 parts of BLO to 1 parts poly and paint thinner.
