total fail in applying birchwood casey tru-oil in the stock now i need to sand it again. I need help in applying the tru-oil.

Enjoy your new rifle and even if it have some imperfections, those are the medals that will show is uniqueness and of your ownership.

i have another gun stock coming the color is pepper and i want to dye it to another color would the local "jobus" work and after coloring it can i still apply a clear coat?

I would recommend a trial piece first, it will work well but best see the results first before committing your final piece...
