I want to built a long lasting RT table that can stand in all weather wet or dry at my rooftop hehehehe

I bought a granite slobe at wilcon builders 60 x 90 cm for my bathroom but giving me an idea i want to make something different to my RT i hope it works if not hehehe for bathroom na sya making a slob for my labatory:toothbrush: .......something to be done and prevent like chipping during cutting and radius at corner for RT plate that can fit perfect..... hehehe thats my wip

Doc.violine has an aluminum RT and others made MDF RT and plywood for me hehehe granite router table weeeee

update ko na lang ito for my new project....:coffee:

I bet that cutting the hole for the RT plate would be the major task here. Looks good to me .... granite top RT. :attack:

I bet that cutting the hole for the RT plate would be the major task here. Looks good to me .... granite top RT. :attack:

yap jay major major nga ito but offset cutting ang gagawin ko dito and then trimming the edge try ko muna sa scrap na granite and then get some idea to make a better result before i proceed to my table maybe this weekend masimulan ko na ito...I bought a diamond disk for my grinder ultra thin cut ..

oh my goodness carbide tips wont work on granite. as far as i know only diamond tip grinding wheel will work.

oh Ryobi, Granite Dust is nastier than saw dust... naaaaaaaaaaaaaasty. be careful pare

forgot to add, granite is porous.. VERY porous, grab a PYE sealant to keep stains away 🙂

hi doc no modification to my router plate and t track hehehe your are right no room for mistake minimum lang weeee well it works hehehe

carbide tips will not work @ granite magbabaga lang ung carbide tibs Bee is correct only diamond tip grinding wheel will work.

here is my update update

same thing what we were doing making a router table on MDF or Plywood put a musking tape for marking for the router plate to make a perfect hole..

here is my grinder modified with base .....I got this to my old circular saw SKIL its already defective due to burn motor so chop chop na hehehe:tounge2:

and then place a fence just to make it straight and start and end limit

here is my cut @ inner square lane

a closer look fo thin cut and check for chip out well its good for now

more closer hmmm i wish i have a good camera like doc violine have hehehe

and now for the outer lane oppppss wear safety gudget like safety glass mask ear mups gloves and long sleave to prevent granite dust anyway since I`m working at my rooftop and the weather was fine yesterday and windy so granite dust flow away weeeee hehehehe

change the blade for much thicker

10 times grinding @ one side

now I`m done for rubbeting it`s take 2hrs on grinding .....now full cutting @ the center to make a hole

here it is

tsk tsk kailangan talaga bumili ng bago camera hmmmm

and now the challenge is curve corner

remove the grinding guard much more flexible on grinding wear Safety Gudget

try to fit the router plate perfect hehehe

and now complete the four corner
