Nice ryobi! Kakayanin ba nung konting granite yung weight ng router at plate or would you still add support from below?

grabe..pinoy! pag si jay yan, tyak me assortment ng carbide burrs to fix right that corner recess!

i share the same concern..baka machip off yung thin granite support..lagyan mo na lang ng mdf o plywood sa ilalim...tapos edge band ng solid wood kasama yung granite and plywood..but i know you have better ideas.

congrats..its one hell of a task..and no chipping!

psst...di ba me macro mode naman yung digicam mo? pede na yun...just buy a cheap tripod from cd-r king..200p lang yata.

grinder lang parang nag engrave ka lang ng lapida hahahaha since granite is hard stone so paunti unti lang pag grinding sa corner with the used of ultra thin cut diamond disk

I will not be surprised to see granite table top ( DIY MOD ) table saws here in the future. For a fact the Ridgid R4511 uses granite for table top.

hahaha di lang pala ako nagiisa actually thats my 2nd plan table saw naman weeeee pag nakumpleto ko na ito Granite Router table with router bits rack and drawer next is table saw pwede syang combine ung dalawa hehehe

granite is a pain, i could imagine the 2 hours you spent making the rabbets, if it was me, i would be dripping buckets of sweat at mangangawit na mga kamay ko

here is my update update very busy pa rin sa work hehehe kaya pautay utay lang i deside metal frame to my granite Rt. i have a lots of scrap metal and excess angle bar and square tube that i used in my extension gate...

joint short angle bar and meet the reqired measurement to my rt table

and welded

and then grind

i made a frame for the top

and then 2x2 square tube for the legs

and 2x3 square tube make another frame for the lower part

45 deg. cutting ....square frame technique
