Here is a not so bright idea, an alternative toggle clamp . I used this when i was building my laptop table and had to make taper cut on the legs. I needed something to hold the workpiece while doing the cuts, and the improvised toggle clamps worked great .
I took several shots of them again still attached to the taper jig.

I was trying the Skil router and got fond of the light to be very helpful. Looking into some of my items, I remembered something that I could use to illuminate the work piece as well.
I remember that I have these magnetic LEDs...
I could attach it to the router through the magnetic head, double sided tape or an additional plate...
Close up shot...I refocused so that the other parts may be visible, it is not as blinding as in the picture.
