salamat

Re: 3/16" Steel Brake line

try hydraulic shops in your area. just be sure they know what they're doing and they got the correct toys needed to do the job.

Re: 3/16" Steel Brake line

Copper tubing is okay if properly flared and installed..
In fact it's easy to bend, flared and shaped..unlike steel binubuka mo pa lang minsan ng crack na sa dulo..prone pa sa rust.

But if you are eager to replace your truck brake line with steel tubing ,dami dito nyan sa cabanatuan.along maharlika high way in front of kia motors mismo sa stop light.
Or any auto supply here they do sell that kind of tubing..kung nasa ilocos ka madadaan ka dito.

And you need flaring tools, tube cutter and tube bender para magawa mo ng maayos at madali ang pag papalit mo ng brake lines.:)

These are the tools ...

The Ridgid Double Flaring tool I already sold but the Eastwood Tubing Bender & Pliers set is still available. Check my ads if you are interested.

I reckon the job you want to pull requires good tooling as it involves some safety issues.

Re: 3/16" Steel Brake line

i think i need to invest first on the double flaring tool or the adapters since i already have a flaring tool and tubing cutter. pero baka pwede mo ibenta separately yung forming pliers mo sir jay.:p. kasi may tubing bender nako i bought for less than P1k (a brand less made in japan)around a year ago. the reason why yung pliers is mas versatile siya i think on relatively tight corners under the hood. i could still be wrong though since di pa ganon kabihasa ang experience ko on bending tubes. tsaka kasi may interest ako sa isa pang klase ng pliers mo posted at sulit. hehe. plus i'm on a tight budget.:(

sir bugel, try ko dumalaw minsan sa sinasabi mo tutal i go home on some weekends sa tarlac. yung copper kasi di sya ganun ka tibay against vibrations at mas madali magcrack compared to steel. against rust for sure panalo ang copper pero i would still prefer steel durability wise.

nakahanap na rin ako ng steel tubing. dinala ko pa magnetic tool ko just to make sure kung steel nga. some practice with the flaring tool. kelangan ko lang ng mas magandang reaming tool. di masyado halata yung double flare. cellphone lang gamit ko sa piktyur piktyur.
