finally my car air-con is functioning normally now.
but i did'nt purchase my compressor at alabang parts center
nor installed it at cruven .

my original plans was to purchase the compressor at alabang parts,
and let cruven installed it, as what sir joey81 advices.
actually i called up cruven that day.

before going to alabang parts, i thought it would be good
if i will make some sort of canvassing at some banawe aircon shops,
just to have some ideas on how much would be the cost differential.

but after 3 consecutive talks with 3 aircon shop at banawe,
i finally decided na dito na lang sa banawe ko ipa-service yung aircon.

the reason is,
what if there will be another additional problem to arise?
after those 3 check-ups,
they all gave same opinions, that there may be damages on the condenser, or evaporator, considering the severity of the damages.
so i decided na sa banawe na lang pagawa,
mahirap yung hindi matapos yung work kasi
may ibang parts na nasira na dapat palitan,
considering meron ng parts silang available,
kung wala, may runner sila, kukuha sila sa ibang shop...

finally i ended up at
ICY car air-con enterprises, 289-II banawe st, cor mariano cuenco st. QC.
the 2 technicians ( dong & jun-jun ) are nice, as well as the receptionist.
actually sila yung pang 2nd shop na pinag-canvassan ko,
they told me na their works are satisfaction guaranteed,
hindi ko daw pagsisihan ang mga skilled technicians nila.

hayun, hindi lang pala compressor ang papalitan, pati condenser.
the condenser are already expelling " black oil "
indications that it needs replacement.

heres the list of the air-con parts being replaced;

compressor ( denso )
condenser
expansion valve
filter drier ( which is connected at the condenser )

all are brand new and with seal...

they gave me 6 mths warranty on their services.
3 mths warranty on the new parts installed.

the technicians seems very nice naman,
they remove all the dashboard areas of the car ( tangal kasi yung buong dashboard )
and clean all the spaces.
all in all the services are well done, at pasado sa hurado.
may kasabay pa nga akong nag-linis ng air-con na 2 yr old na ford everest...
bakit hindi nya sa casa dinala ?

have your car air-con system cleaned once a year at least.
and have your car interiors vacuumed every week,
so as to keep the evaporator clean .

later punta ako sa cruven ( a suspension specialist )
pa-check ko suspension parts ng kotse.

total cost is a whoooping 22.5k...( makakabili nako ng maraming tools neto )
compressor motor= 12.5k....( 11.5k sa unang kinanvassan ko, 16.5k sa alabang parts )
condenser= 4.5k....( 5.5k unang alok, natawaran ko...)

the rest are;
general services.
cleaning.
flushing.
full charge freon.
compressor oil.
expansion valve.

initially 18k lang cost, pero nung na-check na hindi na maganda condition nung condenser,
kailangan na rin palitan ang condenser.

best is let your car air-con be regularly cleaned service every year,
the compressor motor be oiled as well.
when your car air-con compressor produces an unusual sound (which i ignored )
let it be checked by an expert air-con technicians,
so as to avoid pre-mature damages to other air-con components,
thereby reducing unnecessary and unexpected large expenses....:wah::wah:

makikishare lang din ako ng experience sa car aircon compressor.

medyo matagal bihira ko nagamit kotse mga twice every month lang for 6 mos. dahil wala akong trabaho at pang gasolina. Tapos nun bigla ko na ulit gamitin nagloloko na yun baterya baka nadiskarga lang at nun nagpakarga ako sabi daw may kakaibang tunog yun compressor o alternator galing. Totoong may tunog konti pero di ko pinansin hanggang sa pagkalipas ng 4 na buwan grabe na tunog at humina yun aircon. Sumabay din pagloloko nun condenser fan na di umaandar at sabi daw maliit masyado kaya pinalitan ko ng surplus. Nun di ko na matiis yun init pinacheck ko sa isang reputable shop sa makati at nagpaestimate kaso wala akong oras at may home service noong araw na yun kaya naghanap ng ibang aircon shop na bukas nun kinalinguhan sa may Antipolo. Sira na yun clutch spring sa pulley, sunog na yun magnetic coil at sirang bearing. Unang pagawa inabot na 3k labor, freon at parts kaso sakto wala pa isang bukas sira na ulit yun compressor at grabe na yun kalensing ng bakal at amoy sunog yun pala mapapatid na yun belt dahil sa sirang compressor pulley na naman. Ang sira pala ay yun compressor shaft na naupod dahil kinain ng sirang bearing kaya di maganda ikot ng pulley at sisirain palagi. Pagkakuha ng christmas bonus tinabi ko yun kalahati for repairs. Inabot din ako 13k for my aircon overhaul.
9.5k - Denso TRS090 compressor Japan
700 - expansion valve
300 - aluminum drier
200 - carbon tetra(for cleaning ng condenser,evaporator,hose fittings)
800 - alternator at compressor Bando belts
Lesson learned: kaya kung may problema sa aircon pacheck agad at wag tipirin just check for the best shop for its service.
Sasakyan ko pala is 1994 toyota corolla gli at yun marecommend kong aircon shop is Maroon Aircon sa Dallas St. sa may Evangelista, Makati. Maganda din daw kay mang mario kaso nagtaas na daw ng singil mula nun naging pila yun nagpapagawa sa kanila

sinabi na sakin ng neighboring aircon shop
that was 2 or 3 mths ago,
na pa-servisan yung compressor, dahil sa hindi maganda ang tunog
, yun hindi pa sinunod..kasi kasi kasi...:knit:

tama ka, wag tipirin lalo na kung subsub sa trabaho ang component parts na nasira,
kailangang i-maintain ng mabuti....
depende rin sa car models ang prices ng mga parts.
i remember nung araw , early 90's, ang air-con compressor na 508 cost 4.5k brand new.

ang presyo parin ng Sanden 507 at 508 nasa 4.5k kaso china na gawa.
