gud day po, tanong ko lang po kung paano iopen ung sidemirror housing of 96 vti para mareveal ung internals ? loose na po kasi ung housing, just want to check baka pede pa DIY repair. hope may makapagadvise. i know how to remove the sidemirror from the door panel, my problem is how to get it opened.

The screws are hidden behind the mirror. Alisin mo muna yung salamin. Just pry it out.

the mirror is attached by adhesive d b? or by clips? paano ko po ibabalik ung mirror kung adhesive ?

Its attached by something like a ball-and-socket joint. To reconnect you just have to push it back in until it snaps on.

I'm sure you're right. But it's always scary prying out something held by sockets or snaps. You always feel like you are about to break it right before it gives.
BTW, I recommend you do this repair not on a Sunday or holiday. That way, if you do break it, shops are open for you to get a new one.

tnx for the info sir, very helpful po, bali ung ibang kabitan ng screws to secure the housing, just used epoxy steel to resecure it, now everythings ok, saved me money. Although medyo nagloose ung lens coz medyo lumuwag ung grip nya sa big socket in the middle to secure the lens to the frame, ayoko n iremove ung lens again kc medyo mahirap ibalik.
