Please guide me on how I can make a more durable/reliable affordable car battery jumper cable. What specs? Length? Wire gauge? Amps? Clamps? Where to buy these parts etc. Is it worth it or is buying one from Blade or Concorde sufficient? Their products seem very expensive. I have no idea if they will last. Thank you very much.
If you already have an existing one, remove the clamps, buy a welding cable (length according to preference, maybe aroung 3AWG) then attached the old clamp on the welding cables.
Welding cables can be bought in hardware stores. If you do not have clamps, try some auto supply.
Thank you very much for the time and advice. So the wire gauge is 3 AWG. Best regards always.
And this cable can not you just buy it? I'm not an expert, but as far as I know, manufacturers of good brands of cars make similar components.
Well BMW cars should be exactly this provided. I've recently read the BMW logo story, and now I have the impression that this is the best brand of cars.

Dude, it's not a good idea. Things like this do only professionals, you can damage your car if you will do in by yourself. I know a car insurance company that repairs your car and you get a great discount, that is their site www.total-insurance.co.uk . Personally I use their services, because if you conclude a contract on 3 years, you get an 65% discount for all repair works. That's excellent, because I've saved about 1200$ in only two years. Furthermore, their services are very cheap.
