There's a dent in the plastic fender of my Toyota Sienna minivan. Is there a cheaper way of fixing it than going to the Toyota showroom? From the way it appears, its mostly cosmetic and I'm wondering if it can be fixed by hammering the dent out. Any car/van experts? 😀

Re: Toyota Sienna dent in plastic fender
is the fender made of fiber reinforce plastic (FRP)? i'm not familiar with Toyota Sienna.
i'm no expert but if the material used is FRP, some shops heat it up to bring it back to its original form. hamerring it is not advisable as it may break the material.
some shops on the other hand, put polytuff (not sure if my spelling is correct) to cover the dent. then you can have it painted afterwards.

For local folks, Call Car Magic - comes highly recommended.
What's more is that they go to where you & your car are. You just have to call them the day before.
Depending on the extent of the damage, they can finish jobs w/in one day. Call 948-18-74 & look for Butch.
