, the problem with scratches on windshield is that it leaves water marks when you clean your car and after it dries. another problem is when its raining, no matter how good is your wiper, water will always remain on the windshield, it does not freely flow downwards.

if this is your goal in removing the scratches, then you don't need to buff it. buffing will not remove the scratches especially if they are a bit deep. the solution is to use some coating material (e.g. Rain-X or any similar product in the market) to cover the scratches with a thin layer of coat so that water will freely flow down the windshield.

hope this info helps ... cheers

red box shows polished area. that's cerium oxide powder

it'll only work if the scratches aren't deep i.e. if you almost can't feel it w/ your fingernails

Velocitor, is there a similar tool/attachment for drills that i can use to scrub the water marks from my toilet bowl away, something effective but won't scratch the ceramic...

Recently I got my car cratch pretty badly and had all the repair cost back from my insurance company without any troubles. And the way they dealt with ut urging me to recommend their auto insurance to everyone around.

I live in San-Francisco and when I bought my first car I had to face all difficulties of getting insurance for the vehicle. So I decided to address to american insurance in order to get some information on the matter. These guys consulted me pretty well, so be sure to ask them any question you might have about insurance.

Hey, what do you think about black colour of a bath? I've seen here http://worldbathroom.com/ that it's the latest trend, white baths are going out of fashion and black ones look like made of marble. They do look nice but I guess if you buy this bath, you must make the whole redecoration of the bathroom. Would you do that just for the black bath to fit in the interior?
