Re: USB External Hard Disk drives

You just buy the hard disk enclosure and install a hard disk in it, no soldering required.

You can buy the 2.5" version (laptop size HD) or the 3.5" version (desktop PC size HD). Yung 2.5 version, normally wala ng separate power supply. On the otherhand, the 3.5 version normally comes with an external power supply.

Hope this helps.

sata are for desktops, usb ide ang ginagamit, instead of buying separate power supply, you can use old computer power supply AT, kanya lang bulky.

Kasama na ang powersupply when you buy the usb enclosure. IDE and SATA are different hard disk interfaces. SATA is faster than IDE. You should look at the technical specs of the usb enclosure, some support ide while others support sata. If you have an IDE compatible usb enclosure, then you have to purchase an IDE hard drive. Likewise, if you have a SATA compatible usb enclosure, then you have to purchase a SATA hard drive.

It's a very useful device and can be used with different platforms as PC, consoles and http://www.ps4storage.com/ps4-hdd-upgrade-guide/ so you can use it in different circumstances and be good.

USB external hard disk drives are working best right now. If you work at the http://therebelchick.com/this-is-what-admission-officers-are-looking-for-in-your-essay/ site, these external hard drives will work great for you, and will be helpful.
